For a number of years, Simpson Strong-Tie had faced a need to invest in an upgrade of their factory. In the resource-scarce and operations focused organization, the development of the business case for their American owners had not been given the right priority.
Therefore, Quorum was asked to ensure momentum in the creation of the foundation for the business case.
Approach
An interview workshop with the company management created the necessary attention in the organization.
Quorum developed the conceptual solution design and a template for data collection.
Close monitoring of the deliverables ensured that data was available for the creation of a structured business case in the customer’s template.
Result
In a short time frame, Quorum ensured that the foundation for the business case was established and produced in the right format, to be used as the main element in the investment request to the American owners.
